One of the Ten Commandments is "You shall not commit adultery." If you've ever even looked at another person with lustful thoughts, according to God's standards, that makes you an "adulterer." Jesus said, "You have heard it said, You shall not commit adultery: But I say to you, that whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28) Jesus went on to say that it would be better for you to be blind and go to Heaven, than for your eye to cause you to sin and end up in Hell (Matthew 5:29).
The Bible says that every secret sin is laid bare before the holy eyes of God. God will punish all adulterers and fornicators (those who have sex before marriage), but he will go even farther... right down to judging our secret thoughts and every deed done in darkness. On Judgment Day, will you be found to be guilty or innocent?
